Bill’s desire to represent the North Georgia Conference at General Conference is based upon a commitment to help shape the denomination for the long term. He believes that the biggest fear we face as United Methodists is the fulfillment of John Wesley’s words that we “become a dead sect, having the form of religion without power.”
Bill is currently the District Lay Leader for the Atlanta Emory District. He is a graduate of Leadership UMC and served as Head Lay Teller for many Annual Conference Sessions.
Bill attends Dacula UMC where he serves as SPR/PPR Chair. He is married and has three children. This is his first endeavor as a General Conference delegate.
