Wisdom from Robin Lindsey on Contemporaneous Worship Services
Contemporaneous Worship Axioms Shared at the Forum
1. Total commitment must be made by the church to both services
2. One preacher assigned to second service to assure continuity (this is my opinion – others differ)
3. Senior Pastor must honor second service
4. Associate Pastor must honor Senior Pastor and Senior Pastor’s role in the church
5. Senior Pastor must honor Associate Pastor as Preaching Pastor of second service
6. In other words – trust must exist between Pastors and must be viewable by participants in both services
7. Even with different worship styles, theology must be the same – Wesleyan

Additional Thoughts
8. I prefer preaching from the same texts (to keep services working on the same large vision of the whole church) but do not demand it
9. Video projection of Senior Pastor to second service is possible but there still needs to be a Pastor assigned to be physically present at the second service
