HealthMiles Participants: Get in the 'Zone'

The conference has temporary custody of a portable VHM Health Zone. It is located in the DS Office on the 3rd floor of the United Methodist Center at Simpsonwood. You get 200 HealthMiles for use of a Zone for your monthly bio measurements.  We will have the Zone here at Simpsonwood or about in the conference until about November 10. Anyone at Simpsonwood for a meeting or a visit, come up and get extra miles by taking this month's measurements via the Zone.

Get In With Your New WebMD PIN

If you’re a HealthFlex participant, watch for an important letter from HealthFlex/WebMD the week of April 13. This letter contains a new personal identification number (PIN)—which is required to verify your authorization to access personal health information through the HealthFlex/WebMD Web site.

You may be aware that we encouraged our HealthFlex participants to complete the Health Quotient (health risk assessment) and wellness exams last year. There were cash incentives to the individual participants but there were also incentives for the Annual Conference. Here are the results:

Health Quotient

  • 573 clergy and lay employees
  • 349 spouses
  • 922 total (62.2% of 1483 eligible persons)
     

Wellness/Pro-Check

  • 545 clergy and lay employees
  • 317 spouses
  • 862 total (58.1% of 1483 eligible persons)
     

Rebate from the General Board of Pensions and Health Benefits to the North Georgia Conference: $394,601.28
