Liberty Hill United Methodist Church in Canton, Georgia is seeking a positive, energetic person to lead children’s ministry. The Children’s Ministry Director is a full-time position. The Director of Children’s Ministry oversees all aspects of ministries with children, including the supervision of adult leaders and teachers. As a leader, the Director of Children’s Ministry must be committed to the mission of the church to engage people in the life and mission of Jesus. Because the Director of Children’s Ministries is an advocate for the spiritual needs of the children and a resource to parents, she or he must be growing in the faith and be able to demonstrate a servant’s heart. This candidate will work closely with the leader of our youth area to coordinate church-wide programs. Also, this candidate will work closely with other ministry leaders in the church to provide integrated ministry for children and their families.
