Handbells director

Norcross First United Methodist Church, 2500 Beaver Ruin Road in Norcross GA is searching for a bell director for a 2500 member suburban Atlanta church. This position will require 5-10 hours per week and responsibilities include directing an advanced bell ensemble, a high school ensemble, a middle school ensemble and a childrens ensemble. Program Director

Action Ministries, Inc. (AMI) is an independent, faith-based Georgia non-profit corporation with roots in the United Methodist Church. AMI is a unified family of ministries with program divisions located in communities throughout the North Georgia region. The AMI family includes ministry programs operated in Athens, Atlanta, Augusta, Decatur, Gainesville, and Rome, and has additional Transitional Housing sites located throughout the region. At present, AMI is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Program Director at its Gainesville location, Gainesville Action Ministries (GAM). GAM works in its surrounding community to care for and empower those in crisis to become self-sufficient through the provision of case management, personal development programming, long-term life skills education, and financial assistance. The Program Director reports to the Action Ministries Vice President, Operations. The primary responsibilities of the Program Director include: 1) Develop resources through grant writing, donor cultivation, and fundraising. 2) Develop, assess, and oversee local program services. 3) Supervise local staff and volunteers. 4) Provide general program administration and management as directed by AMI. 5) Recruit and guide the work of the volunteers serving on the GAM Program Committee. 6) Participate in AMI activities as a member of the AMI Program Management Team. Music Accompanist

East Point First Mallalieu United Methodist Church is seeking a spirit-filled, highly motivated, and talented person to fill the position of Music Accompanist. This position will require 6 hours per week and responsibilities include assisting the Minister of Music, uplifting Sunday worship, and filling in for the Minister of Music during any services in which an absence is needed.
