- Denman Award Nominations
The North Georgia Conference Evangelism Committee is currently open to receiving nominations for this year's Denman Evanglelism Awards. The Denman Award is presented annually to a United Methodist lay and clergy person in each Annual Conference for outstanding work in Christian evangelism. Nominations may be sent to Dick Williamson, 1098 Dixon Circle, Gainesville, GA 30501. Download the form at the Foundation for Evangelism website. Those eligible for these prestigious awards are persons who exhibit unusual and outstanding efforts for the work on Christian evangelism and are effective in helping persons to experience the transforming love of God through Jesus Christ. - Servant-Leadership Award Nominations
LaGrange College is seeking nominations for the LaGrange College Servant-Leader Awards to be given at the Celebration of Servant-Leadership dinner during Annual Conference. One clergy, one lay and one youth will be recognized at the dinner. A nomination form is available online at www.lagrange.edu. Please click on "Campus Life," then on "Servant-Leadership" and select "Nominate a Servant-Leader." You may request a paper copy by contacting Mary Weiss at 706.880.8340 or at mweiss(at)lagrange.edu. The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 14.
