- Deacon’s Dinner

Women in all categories are invited to the Clergywomen's Dinner: local pastors, deacons, elders, candidates, students—those retired, those on leave, those in extension ministries, those from other annual conferences—you name it! Ordinands and their guests eat free. The cost for everyone else is $15. To make a reservation please email bethlp(at)bellsouth.net with the number in your party. You may pay at the door, or send a check in advance (made out to WFUMC) to Watkinsville First United Methodist Church, 1331 New High Shoals Road, Watkinsville, GA 30677.

Local Pastors, Associate Members and Spouses are invited. Price is $20/ticket. Deadline to make reservations is June 12th. "Wild At Heart" will be the featured entertainment. The "nickname" for the band is "The most over-educated garage band in the country." Everyone in the group has made a living in music before becoming pastors. "Wild At Heart" is a high energy band priding themselves on a solid musicianship, with a playlist that is bound to appeal to all making them truly a crowd pleaser!
