Action Ministries Night of Champions Promises an All-Star Evening

This Thursday, May 15, Action Ministries will host an all-star evening honoring Action Ministries champions Danielle, Lydia and Tammy as well as honoring Clark Howard for his philanthropic work. Former Georgia Tech football coach Bill Curry will be master of ceremonies.

The event raises funds for Action Ministries, which provides critical services to the homeless, the hungry and the addicted in communities across North Georgia.

"Action Ministries is one of the finest expressions of our Christian faith I have seen in the Atlanta area," said Curry. "My prayer is that we can provide a substantial financial boost for this crucial work with our event"

Held at Peachtree Road UMC, the silent auction begins at 6:30 p.m. with trips, sports memorabilia and many other wonderful items. Dinner and program is at 7:30 p.m., including a conversation between Howard and Curry. Tickets are $125 each and tables of 8 are $1,000.
