The same workshops will be presented on Thurs, Sept 17 and Sat, Sept 19.
Workshop I-offered from 10am-12pm-This workshop will cover how to write a Safe Sanctuaries policy for your church and procedures for churches in need of establishing a plan.
Workshop II-offered from 1-3pm-This workshop is for those churches who need to update their policies (especially with the addition of the "vulnerable adults") and procedures and training workers in local churches.

Certified trainers will provide information at each workshop. Materials, including a policy and procedures template and copies of other church policies available by permission will be given to participants. Needs of both small and large membership churches will be addressed by trainers experienced in congregations of both sizes.

Please note: Additional trainings for volunteers in local churches will be available this fall in each district.
