Communications Workshop
Travelling Communications Training Event--Coming to a Church Near You! Across the Conference | Oct. 6-14 The North Georgia Communications Office is offering a free workshop to help your local church with its internal and external communication skills. Persons responsible for church newsletters, bulletins, press releases, events promotion (and any other interested persons) are encouraged to attend this event. North Georgia Advocate Editor, Glenn Hannigan, will lead the workshops. Glenn is a former senior editor at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution with more than 25 years communications experience. The two-hour workshops will focus on three areas: how to get more attention from local media; writing and editing tips for producing better newsletters, bulletins and other print media; and making the best use of your website and social media. Glenn will also explain the philosophy and vision behind the new North Georgia Advocate. There is no charge for the workshops, but registration is required.
