Rico UMC Stained Glass Windows
Several years ago some members of Rico UMC became interested in the craft of stained glass, and began working on some windows for the church building. Over the years, they have made four “angel” windows for the front of the building. The fourth one was completed and installed November 8, and the congregation had a “homecoming” worship service and consecrated the four windows. The angels represent various the ethnic groups that are sung about in the old children’s song, “Jesus Loves the Little Children” (“red and yellow, black and white, all are precious in His sight.”) Rico United Methodist Church is a small membership, rural congregation in south Fulton County (Atlanta-College Park District).
