NGUMC YOUNG ADULTS

We are here to create and implement opportunities to strengthen ministry for and with young adults in the local church. We are committed to the growing edges that surround ministry with young adults and the ever- changing culture that defines this age range.

We are aware of and concerned for the lack of young adults connected to the communities of our churches. Thus, we aim to equip church leaders with the tools they need to be sensitive to young adults and to transform their congregations towards further relevancy and authenticity- two things that young adults are hardwired to sense.

Young Adult Ministry Site Visit
The next young adult ministry site visit will be on Sunday, November 9, at The Quest, hosted by John Kenney (www.theQUESTonline.com). Worship starts at 10:30 am and runs through 12 noon, and then we will have a presentation and fellowship over lunch. Please contact Margaret Freeman (mfreeman@ngumc.org) if you plan on attending so we can have a box lunch for you. Site visits are a great way to network with other young adults and learn more about something great happening in different churches that are intentionally doing ministry with young adults. Come as a representative from your church, or bring a group with you!
