Licensing School
The Licensing School is offered each Spring by the Board of Ordained Ministry for those persons moving into appointments as local pastors, whether student, part-time, or full-time. The School convenes at THE LODGE at Simpsonwood and provides basic training in the practical aspects of effective church leadership. Topics include: preaching, pastoral care, evangelism, Methodist history and beliefs, and discipleship strategies. A broad, qualified faculty leads the School.
