1448 is a simple, functional way to organize your local church to do effective ministry.  Be about the work of Inviting, Connecting, Equipping, and Sending.  Mike or one of his other trained volunteers can provide a brief presentation in your church.

STAFF LAB
Staff Lab is offered as a workshop opportunity in which local church staff (paid and volunteers) can receive tools and information and further their skills on how to conduct ministry more effectively within the local church.

VISION FORUM
Vision Forum serves as the governing body for visioning the future of North Georgia United Methodists. This Body meets to review, converse, and set direction as often as needed. Mike is great at helping guide a vision to action and fruition.

MINISTRY AREAS
Shari R. provides empowerment and guidance to the five ministry areas of Advocacy, Nurture, Outreach, Witness and Related Agencies.

QUICK TOURS
This onsite initiative affords both clergy and laity the opportunity to see first hand potential outreach/mission work domestically and internationally.

WORKSHOPS/TRAININGS
Shari R. offers a variety of trainings that help equip the local church in conducting ministry more effectively, including Conference Connections, Israeli-Palestine workshop, Mission-Oriented Training, Natural Church Development, and others.  She may also have a few suggestions of others equally qualified for your workshop or training.

MINISTRY AT GLISSON
Russell's duties include overall responsibility for all Glisson ministries in North Georgia, including but not limited to Summer Programs, Leadership Programs, Day Camps, Alumni Ministry, Confirmation Retreats, Adventure Outposts, and More.  


SAFE SANCTUARIES
There is a list of ‘Conference Approved Trainers’ who are available and willing to come to your church to conduct trainings.

YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS

CONFERENCE NOMINATIONS
In conjunction with the Conference Nominations Committee, Pam coordinates all data relative to nominations for each Annual Conference.

THE WESLEYAN ADVOCATE
Once a month Pam provides a full page of current information linking Connectional Ministries to local churches.  To give feedback or request more information about any of our articles, feel free to contact Pam.

MIKE'S CALENDAR
As the Executive Adminstrative Assistant of Connectional Ministries, Pam coordinates with Mike's calendar to schedule meetings, workshops, or other events.


BEST PRACTICES
Best Practices is a website forum that allows leaders, churches, committees, and others to share excellent ideas, and best suggestions, with each other to encourage a greater level of ministry and outreach for Jesus Christ.  Melissa helps moderate this forum.

CONFERENCE HANDBOOK & JOURNAL
The Conference Handbook provides a detailed accounting of all business to be conducted during Annual Conference; The Conference Journal, after Annual Conference.   In cooperation with the Conference Secretary, the Journal & Handbook Committee, Melissa is one of the Associate Editors in helping to produce these resources.

MEDIA RESOURCE CENTER
The Conference Media Center is housed in the Connectional Ministry office and offers diverse multi-media materials for all age groups to enhance the educational and informational efforts of local churches.

WEBSITE
The Office of Connectional Ministry accounts for approximately 50% of the Conference website. Melissa works with web-trained volunteers in updating the Connectional Ministry section of the website.  If any information needs updating, or you have helpful suggestions, feel free to email her.
