Resolution on Resources Directory for Persons Living in Poverty
Whereas, our connectional structure can become a more vital and effective resource for all by sharing ministry opportunities and information across conference;
and
Whereas, the Bishop's Task Force on Persons Living in Poverty has realized there is not a central place to resource ministry opportunities with persons living in poverty;
Therefore, be it resolved that each local church and agency be held accountable to reach out to persons living in poverty and report their work annually at charge conference using a form provided by the Task Force. Utilizing this information, the Task Force and/or the succeeding Committee for Ministry with Persons Living in Poverty will annually collect and compile a current resource database.
