North Georgia Conference Scholarship Recipient Graduates with Honors from Africa University

On June 11, Africa University celebrated its 22nd conferment of degrees with a ceremony awarding graduate and undergraduate degrees to 830 students from across Africa.  One of those graduates was the recipient of the North Georgia Conference Endowed Scholarship. With the help of a Connectional Ministries Gap Grant, Rev. Cassie Rapko, associate pastor of Mt. Zion UMC in Marietta, organized a softball tournament fundraiser that brought in more than $1,500 for MUST Ministries in Cobb County. Mt.
