The Council of Bishops, through the UMC's Office of Christian Unity and Interreligious Relationships, is offering scholarship applications to United Methodist seminary students age 22 to 30 to help cover costs associated with spending a semester at Bossey, the Ecumenical Institute of the World Council of Churches.
Bossey is located outside Geneva, Switzerland and every year the school invites promising young theologians from all over the world to participate in a grand experiment to build Christian community. OCUIR will be offering $10,000 for one UM student, or $5,000 for two UM students to attend the semester beginning January 2016.
To obtain the application, students may contact Rev. Dr. Jean Hawxhurst at email@example.com or download from http://ow.ly/PEQef.
Scholarship application submission deadline is Sept. 14.
