A container of Stop Hunger Now meals left Johns Creek United Methodist Church Sunday evening to the Savannah Port. More than 285,000 meals will be shipped to Haiti to feed hungry children. This was an Atlanta-Roswell District Cooperative Event with Johns Creek, The Fountain, Creekside, Mt. Pisgah, Lanier and Piedmont United Methodist Churches.
The same weekend, Dunwoody UMC also held its annual FoodStock Stop Hunger Now event. More than 1,100 volunteers packed 305,000 meals on Saturday!
