Roswell UMC Helping to Restock North Fulton Community Charities Food Pantry throughout September
Roswell United Methodist Church restocks the food pantry at North Fulton Community Charities (NFCC) twice a year (February and September.)  NFCC offers emergency assistance to residents of Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Mountain Park, and Roswell, distributing food over 20,000 times per year.

During our scheduled month, bring your items to donate to the Food Pantry to church on Sundays and deposit in the collection bins around campus.  During the week, please drop off donations to the church office during regular business hours. Visit http://www.rumc.com/get-cans-church/ for a list of suggestions.

Graysville United Methodist Church in Ringgold Restores Walking Track
Members of Graysville United Methodist Church, 2331 Graysville Rd. in Ringgold, have been working to rejuvenate their community walk track. The track was completely resurfaced with donated gravel and is now open to the community. The walk track is 1/5 of a mile in length and was originally dedicated in the late 1980s to a former pastor, Rev. Wallace Green. On Sept. 14, at the church’s 174th Homecoming services, the renovated track/recreation area will be rededicated to Rev. Green and to the vision he had for the church. Members of Rev. Green’s family will be our honored guests.  Homecoming services will be at 11 a.m. with a covered dish lunch to follow after the service.
