The church has nurturing ministries, such as Stephen Ministry, and support groups for grief, divorce and breast cancer. They serve meals at MUST, provide food and other needs to families in the community, and support Murphy-Harpst and The UM Children’s Home. Various youth mission trips are sent all over the map, and they partner with a school in Haiti.
History: In April of 1962, the Blackwell School was the meeting place for a small group of dedicated Methodists beginning a new church. They chose the name St. Andrew, since the apostle Andrew was considered a “doer,” being faithful in the work of the Lord. The first sanctuary, completed in 1964, is now used as a Community Room. The Education Building opened in 1973, the present sanctuary was built in 1986, and the Keheley Center opened in 1999. Today, the church has grown to include more than 350 families dedicated to doing the work of the Lord.
