North Georgia's United Methodist Children's Home in Decatur has a great need for Foster Families.
"We are unable to place a number of children each week due to a shortage of spaces and homes," said Denise Peacock. "Many people are not aware that they can foster through a United Methodist agency like UMCH!"
The Children's Home places children and youth, between infancy and 18 years of age, in homes with foster families. Foster families receive training, staff supervision and a supportive community of other foster families. Foster families are given a per diem for each child in their care as well as assistance with the costs of clothing, medical needs, and day care.
