We will cover types of abuse that must be reported and how to make an appropriate report. We will learn where to send reports and who is required to submit reports. This webinar will equip your children and youth ministry leaders with all the information you need for following the requirements of our new state statute. There is no cost to attend.
Safe Sanctuaries Webinar: Preventing Abuse in Older Adults
Join Rev. Joy Melton for a one-hour webinar on Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. and learn about preventing abuse of older adults in your church's ministries. We will learn how to carry out special ministries, including traveling with older adults, and programs in the local church. We will also look at how the church can work to minimize and even prevent abuse of older adults by the ways we organize and carry out our ministries. There is no cost to attend.
Both Safe Sanctuaries Webinars will be conducted from the Davis Room at the United Methodist Center. If you would prefer to participate in person, join us at the United Methodist Center.
