East Point First Mallalieu's Second Story Cafe Opens

More than 50 people including the Atlanta College Park District Superintendent Coy Hinton gathered at The Second Story Cafe for an evening of poetry, music, and comedy. The initiative, led by young adults, is designed to open the church's door to people with a non-traditional and non-threatening approach.  On opening night, Jan. 25, the featured artists included rappers 2Grown Man - Demario Phillips and Carlos "Grown Man" Porter; Comedienne Star Wilson, poet Kimberly DeWitt and acoustic guitarist and vocalist Erika JaNaé.
