Melton is an attorney who is an expert in church law and risk management issues.  Copies of her book, which offers valuable, practical advice to help churches reduce the possibilities for abuse and exploitation of elders, will be available for $25 at the event.
    G. Scott Middleton, the CEO of Agape Senior, a network of senior adult care facilities and services in South Carolina, will speak on his book, “Parent Talk: The Nine Conversations to Have With Your Aging Loved Ones.”  Scott's book draws on his years of experience in senior healthcare to assist participants in anticipating issues of declining health, understanding the best care options, and making sound decisions.  The mission of Agape Senior is to provide integrated health services to meet the needs of senior adults in a faith-based atmosphere. The company's philosophy is based upon its commitment to provide the best quality care possible for members of our senior adult community.  Middleton's book also will be on sale for $10 at the event.  www.dunwoodyumc.org
