Ski Lake Junaluska offers dynamic speakers, live bands and skiing or snowboarding for youth groups

9/4/2013

Lake Junaluska Youth Events is proud to present Ski Lake Junaluska.  We have an amazing line up of dynamic speakers, live bands, and snowboarding or skiing for your youth group.  Our packages provide youth with a weekend full of worship, skiing or snowboarding, and fellowship in the mountains of Western North Carolina.  Ski Lake Junaluska runs December 30 - February 23.

Our speakers this season include Duffy Robbins, Rachel Held Evans, Andy Lambert, Sarah Arthur, and Stephanie Hand. We have paired these exceptional speakers with outstanding worship bands, including TransMission, Second Hand City, Bestowed, and The Wayne Kerr Band.  Ski Lake Junaluska is sure to offer your youth group a renewal of soul, mind, and body.

This year’s theme is “Do Not Worry.” Youth will focus on the inspiring verse from Matthew 6:34 (The Message) “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.”
Jennifer Martin, Director of Program Ministries explains, “Ski Lake Junaluska Events make planning a retreat easy! All you have to do is bring your group and the rest is taken care of.” Registration for Ski Lake Junaluska is now open. Groups registered by October 15 will receive free t-shirts. Visit www.lakejunaluska.com/ski or call 800.222.4930 for more information.

Non-program ski packages, including early, midweek, and late ski are also available throughout the entire winter season.  This is perfect for families, college groups, and adult groups, who seek a beautiful and convenient place to have their ski or snowboarding adventure this year.
