Boynton UMC of Ringgold GA Hosts BLESSing Event Every Wednesday Night
BLESS stands for Building Lives: Every Snack Sack. Boynton UMC will be packing about 100 sacks of food every Wednesday night at 5:00pm for students in need at Boynton Elementary, Heritage Middle School, and Performance Learning Center.

Dacula UMC Hosts Dacula Heart Day- As CPR/Emergency Training Event January 11th
In honor of member Patrick Spink surving Sudden Cardiac Arrest this past summer, Dacula UMC will have Dacula Heart Day on January 11th from 8:30am-3:30pm. The goal is to train over 100 people in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation/CPR. Trainers will be on hand from the Gwinnett County Fire Department as well as experts from Gwinnett Medical Center and a representative from Zoll Medical Corporation. Breakfast will be served for a donation of $2 with proceeds going toward purchasing and installing emergency defibrillators in public places around Dacula. Training is free and certification is available for an administrative fee of $5. There will also be opportunities to donate blood and receive a free heart screening. Register For Generation Transformation Young Adult Missionary Program by January 15th
January 15th is the deadline to apply for the young adult missionary  program. You don’t want to miss it! Generation Transformation is an initiative of Global Ministries for young adults to engage in mission though US-2, Mission Intern & GJV programs. Apply here: Generation Transformation

Lagrange College Hosts Winter Retreat January 25-26
LaGrange College will be hosting their annual winter youth retreat - TRANSFORM - during the weekend of January 25-26, 2014. During the Retreat, students will be provided lodging at Callaway Gardens, and will engage in an action-packed day of spiritual discovery with sessions at LaGrange College. Cost is only $30 per youth.

Kennesaw UMC Hosts “Life After Divorce” 8 Week Program Starting February 6th
Are you one of the many people who has found themselves faced with a pending divorce, or worse yet you are recently divorced. If so join us for this 8 week Christian based program at Kennesaw United Methodist Church that focuses on " Life After Divorce" . Classes will be on Wednesday's starting February 6 through March 26 at 6:00 - 7:00 pm in room 137 hosted by Laurence and Dionne McDade and child care will be provide.
