How can clergy do a better job of taking care of themselves and those they love? This year’s Georgia Pastors' School, with the theme Live, Laugh, and Let Go, brings together a renowned faculty who not only teach about self-care, but will help equip clergy to live full and vital lives.
Faculty members Dr. Anthony Hedley from Asbury Seminary and Dr. Karen Scheib from Candler School of Theology are experts in clergy and pastoral care. The organizers know that laughter and devotion in this vocation is a healthy combination as well. Clergy will be laughing at ministry in evening worship services with humorist, Jamie Ragle
Rev. Carolyn Moore will bring renewed passion at our closing service on Thursday.
Clergy are encouraged to enjoy this time away with family and also receive much needed Continuing Education Units (CEU) for ministry. A program for PKs (aka Theological Offspring) will be offered for children from 6-weeks to 18 years.
