District Networking Groups for Children's Ministry

Individual District Children’s Ministry Network Groups

The Children's Ministry Network here in the North Georgia Conference strives to meet the needs of those working in Children's Ministry. Whether clergy, staff, or volunteer, we want you to feel connected to others serving in ministry around you.
 
The North Georgia Conference is made up of the following districts: Atlanta-Marietta, Atlanta-Roswell, Atlanta-College Park, Atlanta Decatur Oxford, Atlanta Emory, Northwest, Rome Carrollton, Lagrange, Griffin, Augusta, Athens-Elberton, and Gainesville.
 
Some districts are very active and meet regularly, while others meet just a few times a year. The meetings are intended for fellowship, encouragement, and prayer with other another. Meetings may involve discussion about various topics (VBS, Children's Worship, Sunday School, etc.), while other meetings are simply about fellowship. It is a great time to meet with others working in Children's Ministry to share joys, concerns, and other things that are going on in our lives as we work with God's children!
 
We are currently in need of people to be a leader in their district. Each district is lead by one point person. That person provides or plans for meeting dates on which their district will meet; they also are the contact person for those who may attend the meeting. Some districts have someone in place already, while some do not. If you would be interested in serving in that capacity or would simply like to learn more about what it means to lead a district networking group, please contact Katie Atcheson at katie@graysonumc.org.
