Preparation Workshop Seminar

The Board of Ordained Ministry is offering a one-day workshop to those candidates who are eligible for consideration for ordination or commissioning. The workshop is offered on two separate dates to accommodate the schedule of all those who want to attend, and are identical in content and information. The dates offered are August 27th and November 9th - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Both workshops will be held at the Methodist Center at Simpsonwood. This workshop is designed to help prepare persons for their interviews with the Board of Ordained Ministry in the Spring of 2010. The presenters will be board members from each of the interview areas who will use the packet of materials the candidates will receive from the Board. Registration is limited to Provisional Members who are eligible for Full Connection membership next year, and candidates recommended for provisional membership by their district committees on ministry.
