Free Movie @ The River

THE RIVER UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OFFERS
FREE MOVIE NIGHT TO THE COMMUNITY


The River United Methodist Church will offer an open air movie for the community to enjoy.  On Saturday night, August 8, the community is invited to gather on the practice field at Lambert High School to watch Night at the Museum:  Battle of the Smithsonian.  The evening offered as a celebration of the end of summer vacation and the beginning of a new school year.  There is no charge for the event.

The gathering will begin at 8:00pm and the movie will start at sundown.   Those who attend are invited to bring blankets or low-back lawn chairs.  Papa Johns Pizza will be available for purchase for dinner or snacks during the film. 

The River United Methodist Church places a high priority on community involvement and service.  As a neighborhood church, The River hopes to strengthen families and encourage friendship throughout activities as well as worship and learning opportunities.  The congregation is delighted to be able to offer this family-friendly evening to its neighbors. 

The River United Methodist Church is a new congregation starting in southeast Forsyth County.  Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors and the life of our community.  Worship services are held on Sundays at 11:00am at Sharon Elementary School, 3595 Old Atlanta Road, Suwanee, GA  30024.
