UM Children's Home Leigh Cottage Rebuild - Update

Construction is Underway!!

We are moving forward with the rebuilding of Leigh cottage at the UM Children's Home in Decatur.  Drawings for the replacement cottage are completed and have beenpresented to the county for necessary permits.  Following serveral meeting for reviews, modifications, resubmission, and delays from the layoffs in DeKalb County, the Building Permits have finally been issued!  The foundation is poured, and the framing is underway.

To assist with the planning of volunteers, we are asking everyone interested in being a volunteer to complete the Individual Volunteer Skills Inventory form.
