Deacon's Dinner

The Deacons Dinner before Annual Conference will be on Monday, June 15, at 6 pm. at Oconee Street UMC in Athens where Rev. Lisa Caine has graciously agreed to host our group.  The address is 717 Oconee St. Athens, GA 30605. Price is $20/ticket.  Reservations can be made on the "Registrations" page.   Those to be commissioned provisional deacons are invited as our guests.  Questions should be directed to Nora Martinez at 678-533-1388 or nmartinez@ngumc.org

The Clergy Luncheon at Annual Conference will be on Tuesday , June 16th in the Classic Center Ballroom.  All Elders, Deacons, Local Pastors, Associate Members and Provisional Members are invited.  Price is $20/ticket.  Reservations can be made on the "Registrations" page.  The deadline is June 11.  The speaker will be Dr. Jan Love, Dean and Professor of Christianity and World Politics at Candler School of Theology.

LaGrange Celebration of Servant Leadership

LaGrange College is pleased to invite you to “A Celebration of Servant-Leadership.” This year’s recipients,  Rev. Clergywomen’s Dinner

The Clergywomen’s Dinner will be held on Tuesday evening June 16 at 5:30 pm at the Oconee River One ball room in the Foundry Building of the Classic Center. (We are aware that the Conference choir practice is at this same time. However, there may be additional practices added and we will keep you posted.) The cost of the meal (which is now a full dinner buffet) is $25 per person. Ordinands and those being commissioned eat free of charge. UMW Breakfast at Annual Conference

The UMW would like for you to join us for breakfast on Wednesday, June 17th in the Classic Center (B/C/E) at 7:00am. The cost is $12 per person and the registration deadline is June 1. Tickets will not be sold at the door on June 17.

Glisson Luncheon  

Delegates to the North Georgia Annual Conference and alumni living in the Athens area are invited to join us for the Glisson Luncheon at Annual Conference.  The luncheon will be on Wednesday, June 17, at noon in the High Shoals Room. This is the first time Glisson has hosted a luncheon at Annual Conference, so we are asking our alumni and friends of Glisson to make reservations.  We want to be sure we have enough food and seating for everyone. Retiree Luncheon

Conference retirees are invited to the Retiree Luncheon Wednesday, June 17, at 12:15 p.m. following the retirement ceremony. The luncheon is free for all retirees and surviving spouse. Asbury Alumni and Friends Dinner

The Laity Luncheon will be Thursday, June 18, at noon in the Athena Ball Rooms. Ticket sales will begin Tuesday, June 16 in the Foundry Building. The speaker will be Cathy Cox, president of Young Harris College and former Secretary of State of Georgia. The Reinhardt College Jazz Ensemble will perform.
