How do you view the forums?
Go to http://www.ngumc.org/resources/forums/ and click on the forum of your choice.
Who can add an entry to these forums?
Any UM member who has created an account.
How do I create an account?
Go to http://www.ngumc.org/resources/forums/account/ and click on "Not a member yet? click here to register." Then, fill in only the required fields below. Click "Create Account" at the bottom and then "Create Account Now" on the next page. You will receive a confirmation email. You must confirm your email before your username & password will work to begin posting.
Why does my entry not appear immediately? Are they moderated?
The North Georgia Conference IT Office moderates these forums once every workday. It is at their discretion whether an entry is approved or deleted. The entries will only be viewable immediately after the posts are moderated. Check again the next day.
How do I post?
You must be logged in. Go to http://www.ngumc.org/resources/forums/account/
and enter your username & password. Click "Login." Then, go to the forums page at http://www.ngumc.org/resources/forums/ and choose your forum. Once you are there, click on "Add an Entry" and input your information. Be sure to check the box "Are you a person?" This question sounds silly, but it is there to prevent spam.
