Nora Colmenares Martinez

Nora Colmenares Martnez is originally from Venezuela. She did her undergraduate studies in Venezuela and came to US to pursue graduate studies. She transferred to the North Georgia Conference from the Northern Illinois Conference where she was ordained full connection Deacon.
She serves now as Associate Director of the Office of Church Development of the North Georgia Conference. She coordinates the areas of ministries with Hispanic/Latinos, and ministries with other cultures. She is available to visit churches and church groups to talk about the possibilities of local churches effectively reaching out to other ethnic groups around them.
She helps them carefully prepare and plan in order to be effective. She has lived in the Atlanta area since the summer of 1999. She has two daughters: Andrea, who is 18 and attending Agnes Scott College, and Claudia Victoria, who is 12 and in 6th grade. She likes to read, watch movies, cook and travel.
