Russell Daivs is the Director Manager of Camp Glisson and a part of the North Georgia Conference Connectional Ministries' Staff. Russell's duties include overall responsibility for all Glisson ministries in North Georgia, including but not limited to Summer Programs, Leadership Programs, Day Camps, Alumni Ministry, Confirmation Retreats, Adventure Outposts, and more.
Russell is originally from Dublin, Georgia, and has served in various capacities in North Georgia, Oklahoma, Virginia, and most recently in South Carolina. Russell's camp background began in the Virginia Conference, where he served as pastor of a church and director of a camp under one job heading.
From that experience, Russell followed a call into Christian camping full time. Russell layers a strong spirit of hospitality, modeling discipleship, as well as good natured fun and fellowship for a well-rounded experience in camp and other ministries.
