Margaret Freeman

Rev. Margaret Davis Freeman has a passion for shepherding others to help them do their best in ministry. Margaret is a clergy member of the North Georgia annual conference of the United Methodist Church, an ordained deacon certified in both Christian Education and Youth Ministry.
Over the past 28 years, she has served in churches in Georgia, Arkansas, Texas, and Tennessee. Currently appointed to the First United Methodist Church in Franklin, North Carolina as Minister of Discipleship, she lives with her family on top of a mountain in the Nantahala National Forest, just across the Georgia/NC state border.
Margaret has also served on numerous district, conference and national United Methodist committees and task forces. She directs our conference youth and young adult ministries, and works closely with the conference youth ministry and young adult committees to develop leadership in those areas.
