Micheal Selleck is Director of the North Georgia Conference Office of Connectional Ministries, in his sixth year of the appointment. His main areas of responsibility are leadership development & training, and visioning & planning.
He consults and trains in all aspects of local church life. He chairs the Connectional Table, sits on the Board of Connectional Ministries, is secretary of the Conference Committee on Nominations, and is a member of the Bishop's Extended Cabinet. Mike has authored four books, including the Official Handbook for Youth Ministry for the United Methodist Church.
Mike's undergraduate work was at Adrian College, in Adrian, Michigan (class of '73). He has twice been elected to his Alma Mater's Athletic Hall of Fame for wrestling. His seminary work was at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio (Methesco, Class of '78).
He is married to Chris (40 years this September), who serves as the Executive Secretary to Bishop Mike Watson. They have two grown and married children, Amy and Rick, and three grandchildren, Jack, Michael and Lila.
