Martha Graves serves as the Office Administrator of the Atlanta Emory District since September of 2009. Martha started working with the North Georgia Conference in the fall of 2009 and prior to that she worked at the Tennessee Conference for the President of the Nashville Area Foundation for a couple years. Martha started working for the United Methodist in 2002 as the Executive Assistant to the President/CEO, CFO & COO at McKendree Village (Nashville’s largest Methodist Retirement Community – Founded by Bishop Short back in the early 60’s.)
Martha is a member of the Professional Association of the United Methodist Church Secretaries (PAUMCS.) Martha enjoys helping and assisting God’s servants; helping to make this world a better place through the love of Jesus Christ.
Martha is married to Byron Graves and has two daughters, Margaret and Ava and three step daughters, Brandie, Monica and Stephanie. Martha enjoys spending time outdoors, walking, riding bikes, traveling the U.S. and Europe and enjoys cooking for family and friends.
