Steve Wood

Steve is the Sr. Minister at Mount Pisgah UMC in Alpharetta. He is a previous Community Spiritual Director for the Northwest Georgia Walk to Emmaus, and was chosen to be the launching Community Spiritual Director for the Tres Dias movement in Moscow, Russia.

Steve's previous appointments include pastoring and growing a new church plant in Douglas county, pastoring and growing a church that was recognized as the Conference Small Membership Church of the Year in 1989, pastoring a growing a church that is distinguished as being one of the highest worship attendance/membership ratios in all of Methodism.
In addition to his pastoral role, Steve serves on several boards and agencies in the North Georgia Conference including North Georgia Conference Committee on Finance and Administration, The Confession Movement, and The Leading Edge Large Church Pastors Network.

Steve and his wife, LeAnne, live in Alpharetta with their three daughters, Lauren, Lacey, Layne, and their son, Steven, Jr. He has a passion for missions and evangelism in making disciples of Jesus Christ and growing and cultivating Christian leaders for global impact. He is a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.
