Kenyan Mission Trip

We will do so work in Nakuru on a church we worked on last year.  Also possibly VBS etc at the church.  We are in the process of developing relationships at Salgaa.  This is a staging area for Kenyan missionaries to be sent out all over Kenya and East Africa.  Very exciting place and great vision.  We will also do some work with children in Nairobi.  We have a missionary there who is a nurse and works with a variety of settings.  We are really looking for a dentist to come and we  currently have a couple of nurses, PT and a dental hygenist.

Nicaragua Medical MIssion

Carrollton First United Methodist Church is sponsoring a medical mission team to Nicaragua. The team, comprised of doctors, nurses, dentists, optometrists, pharmacists and support personnel, will travel to Tipitapa, Nicaragua. Under the direction of Ronnie & Angi Hopkins, Mission Society Missionaries, the team will travel to Los Playones community (small village in NW Nicaragua on Pacific Coast) to hold a Medical Clinic for 2 villages. Cooperative efforts are underway to help the communities get a medical clinic built and staffed. Drs, Dentists, Optometrists and Pharmacists must submit a notarized copy of current 2010 license. Medical supplies and health kits will be needed. UMVIM insurance is required. Facilities will be "rustic" and some tent camping may be necessary.
