During July and September, we will experience several transitions throughout the district. The shifts in July are clergy appointments. The developments in September will require a vote at Annual Conference to change the 12 district lines to 8 districts that follow county lines. The new area, District 4, South Central, will include DeKalb, Rockdale, Newton, and Henry Counties.

Please join me in acknowledging several transitions with clergy and churches in the district. I'm grateful for the leadership of each of the clergy and congregations. You have served faithfully in the ADOX District. Godspeed to each of you as you transition to a new season in ministry.

We welcome the new churches and clergy to the new District 4 South Central District! I look forward to walking alongside you to imagine new ways to connect people with Jesus.

On the Journey,
