Traveling north from Atlanta on I-75; exit at Glade Rd (exit 278). At the bottom of the exit ramp; turn left. Travel up the hill past one traffic light. At the second traffic light; turn right onto Lake Acworth Drive (Hwy 92). There is a large Racetrac gas station at this corner. Acworth UMC will be about one mile ahead on the left. Turn left onto Collins Circle and immediately turn right into lower church parking lot. OFFICE: Travel uphill past playground (building A) and McClure Hall (building B.) At the top of the hill (next to building C,) follow the parking lot to your left and look for a breezway between two buildings. Enter through entrance C-7 which goes into the two-story building through the breezeway entrance. (If locked, ring the doorbell.) Go up four steps and enter the hallway. The AUMC Office will be directly across the hallway (Rm C-207.) SANCTUARY: Continue up the hill after entering the lower parking lot. Look for the playground and covered entrance. This is entrance A-2. Note: the sanctuary is upstairs. Either enter downstairs (entrance A-2) and take the elevator up OR use the outside stairs across from the playground gate and enter the sanctuary gathering area through entrance A-3. For handicap accessibility, drive around to the lakeside of the building and enter through entrance A-16.
