Northside Church is a 5000+ member church in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta. We offer traditional and contemporary worship on Sunday mornings with a dedicated Sunday School hour. This is a 
family church with an established and robust Children’s Ministries that partners with our preschool and Sports & Recreations ministries. We are hiring a full-time Director of Children’s Ministries (Sunday-Thursday employee).

The Director of Children’s Ministries will partner with an incredible team of full time and part time staff and volunteers to oversee the vision and implementation of discipleship ministries for children (infant through 5th grade). Our Director plans, organizes, and implements a wide range of activities for children and is responsible for the oversight, leadership, and safety of the Children’s Ministries that include: Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, Parents Morning Out, Summer Camp, Special Events, and Vacation Bible School. The Director is responsible for the selection and expansion of curriculum for the department; this includes guiding the Children's Ministries Team through Biblical exegesis including personal attention to each level of programming and stages of faith for children. Currently, we are engaging the Orange Curriculum and use Planning Center for check-in. The Children’s Ministries Director will work collaboratively with our Children’s Council and fellow ministry areas including Worship, Students (Youth Ministry), Missions, Pastoral Care, and Communications to expand opportunities for children and families to know the love God and grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

This position requires the ability to engage with adults and children in charismatic and uplifting ways. It is vital that this person can connect with children and their families to provide a highly positive, Christ-like atmosphere. Excellent people and communication skills are required. Salary Range $60k+ commiserate with experience.

Experience: Work in children's ministry: 2 or more years of experience (Preferred) 
Education: Bachelor's Degree (Required)
