Facilities Manager


Facilities Manager: WFUMC is looking for a Facilities Manager who is responsible for the management and operations of all the physical facilities of the Church. This position is 30 hours per week. The Facilities Manager position is mainly unsupervised and requires self-motivation, accountability for time and expenses, and integrity. The duties include oversight and responsibility for the buildings, grounds, parking areas, equipment, building systems, general security, Church representative with outside contractors and inspectors, supervision of facilities maintenance, and coordination with the custodial staff and also completing custodial duties ensuring the facilities are fully operational, safe, clean, and prepared for services and ministry activities. Physical Demands of the position include but are not limited to lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., frequently and occasionally exceeding that weight. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and bending forward; constant repetitive arm/hand movements; and the ability to hear, see, and speak with or without assistive devices for effective communications are essential. The ability to work from heights and ladders and work in varying weather conditions is also a key part of this job responsibility. Two year’s experience with general plumbing and electrical required. Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Have a valid Driver's License. Pass a background check and drug test. Two year’s experience with general plumbing and electrical required.
