Bethel United Methodist Church, a caring and welcoming multicultural congregation, seeks a part-time Church Pianist. Responsibilities will be to support the music ministry for the congregation and community, including adults, youth, and children. Experience playing for contemporary, traditional, and blended worship services will be helpful. Minimal qualifications to be considered: Some formal music training (e.g., private lessons, college level training, or equivalent experience.) Ability to maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor when working with others. Prior performance experience in two of the following positions: church pianist, church organist, other keyboard accompanist position. References and a background check are required.
