A/V Team Lead – Part Time (29 hours/week)

The A/V Team Lead will work closely with the Director of Technology in planning and helping to lead the A/V efforts at Alpharetta Methodist by overseeing and/or filling one of the 6 possible A/V/L positions during worship services at Alpharetta Methodist. These are Front of House Audio, Broadcast Audio, Video Switcher/Director, Camera Operator, Lights, and ProPresenter. Currently, contemporary and traditional services are on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. The A/V Team Lead will adapt to different worship schedules as needed. In addition to Sunday services, the A/V Team Lead will have office time for planning, editing, and setting up for/running A/V for additional services and events.

Skills needed:

Proficient in Live Sound Reinforcement
Strong troubleshooting skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to lead a production team
Familiar with video editing software and concepts
Familiar with production lighting
Basic understanding and skills required to operate ProPresenter, ATEM video switchers, video cameras, audio consoles, lighting consoles, video editing software
Flexible “can-do” attitude to take on various projects that surface
Willingness to help out in other church-related areas as needed
Willingness to learn and practice each possible position
