Program Repair Tech

Gwinnett/Walton Habitat for Humanity (Lawrenceville, Georgia) is seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) Repair Tech to provide basic plumbing services for the Water Resources Assistance Program (WRAP) in accordance with Gwinnett/Walton Habitat’s mission and standard of excellence. Qualified applicants need 2 years of home repair, basic plumbing, or project management experience. Primary responsibilities include building relationship with homeowner; performing basic plumbing repairs to including changing out toilets, faucets, and showerheads; train and supervise volunteers; assist with finding subcontractors, assist with obtaining quotes and schedule subcontractors as needed; obtains permits and inspections as needed; provide daily project updates to supervisor; and assisting A Brush with Kindness program home repair projects as needed; and other duties as assigned. Experience with basic home repairs like drywall and tiling are a plus. The WRAP Repair Tech works under moderate supervision. Must be computer literate in MS Word/Excel, have great organization skills, and have effective communication and interpersonal skills. Desire to serve others is necessary.
