Sound Engineer

Fairburn United Methodist Church, Fairburn, Georgia, is seeking a knowledgeable, punctual and
detail oriented sound engineer to record and mix music and audio during worship services and
special events. The sound engineer will operate sound equipment in worship services, recordings
and online broadcasts, including broadcasts on Zoom and Facebook.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT NECESSARILY LIMITED TO:
- Establishing and fostering exemplary relationships with church staff, volunteers, and members.
- Attending all church-wide worship services special events.
- Performing other duties as assigned by Fairburn UMC pastor.
- Performing sound checks prior to worship services and other special events.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- REQUIRED: Ability to operate sound board and all other audio equipment.
- PREFERRED: Experience serving in a worship services and other church programs.
TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 3 hours per week.
SALARY: $100.00 per event, paid from invoice.
