Creator God, I forever thank you and praise you for having the opportunity to worship you daily. You are so good to us no matter what happens. Please give me the strength and power to face everything in my day. I pray that all surrounding me today get the chance to know you, your glory, and your blessings. When I sought to you Lord you answer me and deliver me from all my fears. Surround us and fill all our senses so we know you are with us.

—Callie Sligh, Due West UMC

NOTE: A "collect" (call-ect) is a simple, focused prayer.

About the Prayer and Preparation Project

Each day from April 30 to June 3 you will be prompted with a Psalm to read, a short breath prayer or collect (call-ect) written by a North Georgia United Methodist, and prayers of invocation.

We invite you to share this with your family, small group, congregation, and Christian community. Whether you are attending Annual Conference or not, we pray this will better prepare all of us for true holy conferencing.
