The Southeastern Jurisdictional Conference, originally set for July 15-17, 2020, has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A new date will be scheduled after the postponed 2020 General Conference now set for Fall 2022.

A special session of the SEJ has been called for July 21, 2021, to vote on a proposed resolution to unite the Memphis Annual Conference and the Tennessee Annual Conference into the Tennessee-Western Kentucky Conference.

Delegates will also receive a report from the Southeastern Jurisdiction on the pandemic response in the jurisdiction, the work of anti-racism across the jurisdiction, and the work of the jurisdiction moving forward into the next 18 months.

The North Georgia Conference delegation to General Conference and Jurisdictional Conference is chaired by Rev. Dr. Byron Thomas.
